Drake has too much nuance and 'inside jokes' for a non fan or especially new listener to catch or understand 😅😂😂. More than half of he's bars are subtle flexes or subliminal to other industry people that only die hard fans and industry insiders will pick up.

In Toronto and big cities in the uk there’s a big Caribbean population due to migration (since the wind rush) and it’s integrated into the way a lot of people talk. That’s why Drake talks like that sometimes he’s been doing it since I started listening to him. People from the uk get it cos it’s very similar here

Lol tell your mom that Drake has never just been Drake in his music. He came out sounding like he was from down south, then he went to the Jamaican accent. Then he starts rapping like he was from the hood in Toronto despite the fact that he talks with the most generic Canadian accent there is.
