The title should be "My Enemy Hates Me, And My Mom Doesn't Protect Me" or something like that. She was never even struck by lightning once in this story. I'm glad Natalie told her mom how she felt, and I'm glad her mom finally saw the error of her ways. It was a shame that her mom believed Cynthia and not her at first. Also, this video focuses on her mom, but what about her dad? He was never there for her either.

@@yukiw012 the original comment may sound mean, but it was true. Nathalie's parents were so engrossed in their work that they never actually checked on their daughter. If they had, they would've known about the bullying sooner and done something about it. For example, If they knew about Cynthia telling Nathalie's classmates that she was a loser on day one, they would've raised hell about it to the teacher or the principal and, maybe, Cynthia would've been made to apologize for what she said and the kids might've given Nathalie a chance. Another example, if they had paid attention when in the second and heard Nathalie was kicked off the stage before she even had a chance to dance, they could've helped by asking for the whole story. And then, after learning that the reason was because one of the judges gave Cynthia the lead role and Nathalie called her out for being hasty, and the fact that the judge was Cynthia's mom, they would probably need to bring that up with the principal and argue that it was unfair and there was a case of favoritism. Bottom line, mean but it had to be said.
