one time my dad was asleep and i had to literally smack him in the head (very very hard) bc a fire alarm was going off bc i forgot to put water in my mac and cheese cup and he was just sleeping while smoke filled the downstairs; meanwhile my mom who was upstairs and had j got off a 12 hour night shift came RUNNING down the stairs… let’s just say she didn’t trust my dad and i to be the only ones home much longer than that…

My nephew when he was around 10-12 wanted ramen in a cup had asked his mom if he could have some. She said yeah and he said he knew how to make them. So trusting him he put the noodles in for the time it said. He went to the living room let the microwave go u til he heard the beep, he went in and yelled for his mom. She went in and saw a black piece of noodles and a melted cup. The kid forgot to add water to the noodles. We never let him forget about it.

lol my brother did the same thing when he was around 4-5. he wanted a slice of leftover pizza so he put it in the microwave for *thirty minutes* on high (he didn’t know how to change power levels). after around 6 minutes there was charred pizza in the microwave and smoke everywhere. i was playing with my sister in the living room and had to yell to wake my mom up from her nap bc it didn’t trigger the smoke alarms. i swear the things that brothers do 🙄😂

So one time my dad was passed out on the couch and I set of the fire alarm when I put pizza in the microwave for 10 minutes instead of 10 seconds and I left it in their and then the microwave and pizza exploded and their was fire so I ran to my dad I was slapping his bald head to wake up and he was passed out so I grabbed water and dumped it on him and he FINALLY woke up and I had already called 911 (be smart kids) and then they came pretty quick and my mom came home… let’s just say my mom doesn’t trust me to stay home.. (P.S. We got a new microwave and the kitchen and house are fine. Also, my dad really hated the dumping of water but anyway ALL SAFE YALL! 😅
