I do wish she would have put out cookbooks and household hints for each of the Farm series she did. They would have been great reads and practical recipes.

@@agirly1503 I found out that she has several books out there. I went to Amazon and put in Ruth Goodman books. I made a list and found some for cheaper on ebay or on abebooks website.

Fascinating.My Appalachian ancestors cooked on coal stoves, & made their own variations of the UK recipes that had been handed down through the family. I knew what coal has done for the US, (good and bad), but didn't know how strong the influence was on English culture. Look forward to reading Ruth's book.

Under the trades description laws roast meats should be illegal as no one makes and sells roast meat only baked meat. You cannot sell a gluten free loaf of bread containing gluten without being taken to court, yet roast meats are the exemption
