DRAMATIC footage captured the moment a Russian missile strike toppled a 787ft TV tower in Ukraine's second largest city.
The huge structure snapped in half and collapsed as part of what President Volodymyr Zelensky said is Moscow's plot to make Kharkiv "uninhabitable".

Maybe. A "stayed" tower has a LOT of "single point failures." A tower that size might have up to 9 cables holding it up. Cut or weaken any one of them and the tower comes down, Down, DOWN.

One positive thing from this... Broadcast transmitter towers need upgrading and replacing every few years anyway. So the replacement will be newer, better and with more features than the old one! Technology never stands still.
