Thoughts about this sling, it's nice, maybe the only company to make a sling that would make me think twice about buying it over a Peak Design. Two things they screwed up on though, they should have had tabs on the sides where you could attach the Peak Design Capture clips, I love that feature on my 5L Sling, and they needed better dividers inside, either like the Peak Design ones or even like the ones in the Peter McKinnon bag. That being said I might still get one one day just to try it out, I have like 50 bags, what's another one? 🤷♂️

@tonypulido81274 жыл бұрын
Jacob Vu I just got the Hex DSLR sling (large) and it feels shapeless, materials don’t feel like they’re quality. Loose stitching and the strap has what I guess they call padding but it slides all over the place. Zippers are jingly and BIG! o ordered the Moment Rugged Sling 6L and am now waiting for it to arrive. I’d say go with Moment, I had their Fanny sling and that thing was high quality all the way!

Safety note... if you store the bag under the front driver seat, if you ever hit your brakes hard, it'll roll forward and interfere with your ability to use the footpedals.

That’s the real question. I tend to have more kids stuff with me, water bottles, etc., so backpacks have always been my go to. But, the simplicity of the sling was really fun.

Great review, as always but I have a question about this sling: is the front pocket big enough to fit your favourite water bottle; the Camelbak Chute 750ml (23oz)? And if it is, on which version of the sling: the 6l or the 10l or both? Thanks to anyone who answers my question :) Take care!
@chasereeves4 жыл бұрын
No, not big enough for a 750ml. I don’t have any water bottle that would fit in there but a smaller flask size thing would work.

Chase Reeves oh I see thanks for the response. I don’t carry a camera but I have more gear with the moment lenses and an 11inch iPad Pro that I’m debating between the 6L peak design, The 6L Nomatic Navigator Sling and now this moment 6L Sling. 🤔🤔🤔
@digitalvizun56784 жыл бұрын
@@SylvesterValderrama I just got my moment 6L and yes i feel that poke in the back. You have to sinch it up pretty high like Chase did to reduce the poke. However the weight gets more focused on your traps and gets uncomfortable after a while. Other than that, the bag is built like a tank. I wouldn't worry about babying it. I also have the PD 6L and like that as well and no poke, However with the PD 6L I think wont be as tough and doesn't feel as secure on me like the moment 6L since the moment has that shoulder stabilizer latch and better padded strap. If it wasn't for the back poke and missing place to attach the PD latch, I would take the moment over the PD. Now I am leaning more towards PD because of the back poke. Hopefully that helps.

Be safe and kind. Every place has a different level of fear. Cities are inevitably more open than small towns (but full of people). Gloves and wipes for gas-ups (holy shit gas is cheap rn). We have lots of snacks and meals in the car, almost no stops. Get outside to nature areas, give people space. Goddam this country is awesome.
