I remember hearing this song for the first time at the age of 8. I liked the song but was confused because all I heard to that point in my life was rap and r&b, great genres, but there was so much more out there. I remember thinking this song was amazing, but couldn't tell anyone out of possibility of being shamed. Then, later that school year, a friend I made asked if I ever heard of George Micheal then it cam pouring out. His whole discography is AMAZING. R.I.P. George. Just know that you touched million across generations, including young black boys from the hood.
