Great episode, Joan! I am always happy to see that you posted. I also feel guilty about my yarn purchases. It doesn’t help that my husband doesn’t have a comparable hobby so he doesn’t understand why I would want to acquire more yarn when I have more than enough. I wish I could knit faster!! Maybe 2025 will be the year of few acquisitions for me. 🤷🏼‍♀️😬

Great episode. I love seeing others yarn purchases! Makes me feel better about my own 😬. I would love to attend a fiber festival, but the closest my area has is a wool fest that has one tent for wool fleeces and yarn.

It was so delightful to meet you at Fiber Fair! That was also my first fiber festival. I was the one that said you were cheating on your husband’s woodwork with those new sock blockers. 😆 I ended up getting a Wraps Per Inch yarn gauge ruler thing from that same vendor. They had some excellent stuff!

Bankruptcy on KALs! 😂 I love it! I was feeling the same way about KALs last year. I’ve decided that I will not be going out of my way to participate in them anymore, meaning that I’ll join in if it is something I already planned to make, I have the yarn, and the timing is right. I have really been enjoying the more flexible KALs that aren’t pattern specific, like the stripe-along, Fall Feels, Sweater Weather K2tog. Happy Thanksgiving, Nevin family (and Bekah’s family)!

Fun episode! I had no idea you could declare bankruptcy on KALs. 😆 I rarely participate in KAL/CALs. Over in the cross stitch community I'm hearing the SALs being referred to start-alongs more than stitch-alongs now. I think we all get SO excited to join in on the fun! Glad to hear you enjoyed the fiber fest. Loved seeing the photos. Those pups! Always into something and I love hearing the stories! Have a happy Thanksgiving!
