Peeps on this planet i know many are unhappy with the new SM but i think it is great the old series did not stick to the manga and this one is closely following itand i am truly grateful. I know many dislike the animation but we are in the 21 century so get use to production making figures more realistic.

Agreed. I love this new animation and how close it is to the manga so far. The only thing so far that I have an issue with is in the opening of the show, we see a shot of Queen Serenity. And she's blonde. I don't know, from the previous anime and the internet, I always assumed she'd be white haired or a light lilac. Blonde? Eh.

I can’t agree more, the manga has funny scenes but not all the time, do they want this franchise to turn into a comedy just because they watch the 90s first? The manga has never been targeted towards children in the first place, that’s why most of the time it is serious and not funny. Crystal has been following the manga closely when some people who watched the 90s only want the series to get turned into a comedy when it clearly isn’t

Agreed plus crystal is faithful to the manga. The 90s anime SCREWED the story characters like Mamo, Chibiusa Rei were ruined. Even Mamo and Usako's love was completely ruined.

It’s been five years now sense the reboot and honestly, I don’t see the point in hating it. It wasn’t a copy of the manga it was a adaption. It took some elements of the manga and made it into its own thing, for example: - they made 3D transformations which was unknown to magical girl anime transformations at the time (in the anime world) - it had an unique art style (unlike other animes) - it took the original story (the manga) and made some of the plots different - the attacks were different from the rest of the shows in the sailor moon franchise (except live action) This needs to be said: Sailor moon crystal is not bad, the fans made it have a bad reputation.
