this is so sad. everyone hating on her because she mentioned taylor. she didn’t hate on taylor. she didjt say anything defamatory. she ended the friendship. she ended the marriage. she cut ties with anyone who hurt her. she didn’t even BLAME taylor. she just mentioned her within the story because she was a key figure in the story. nothing bad just facts of what happened. but because she is doing something bad in the story, people automatically assume she’s saying “taylor is a bad friend. it’s all her fault” when she never said that. they are just putting their own newly found thoughts and opinions on kenna and putting their words in kenna’s mouth.

I think a big reason Kenna has been made the villain is that these are Mormons we're talking about. She left her husband, and in the eyes of Mormonism, divorce is just about the worst thing a person can do. It doesn't matter that Taylor or her husband did far worse, she committed the ultimate sin of protecting herself

*Consent can be withdrawn at ANY TIME* Taylor is so stupid and immature. I don't like Taylor. Never have and never will. I feel like the ppl who are "Team Taylor" forget she has a DV arrest. Not only did she get arrested for DV, but during that fight, she threw a chair at her partner, and it hit her child. To comment on your confusion surrounding Mormonism, I think I can speak for the majority of secular people when I say that I was well into adulthood when I learned that Mormonism is much more of a cult than a religion...like it gets pretty close to being as crazy as Scientology. Interesting stuff and if you want to learn more about it, look up the people who have made yt channels about how they escaped from Mormonism.

@@feliciaspringer2795that’s true and there are offshoots of all religions that have and can become cults, but they do have to hit certain markers to be considered one. Mormonism is borderline. There are groups and families in Utah, though, that are a cult for sure.

@@Hana-cr2qg i agree, but i feel like men are less likely to actually want either lmao- women, especially women that were raised in religious communities, are incredibly pressured to have children and be the perfect mom. i’m not religious and even i’m constantly asked when i’m having kids despite saying multiple times that i don’t want them, but my brothers are never given the same energy. “well you might change your mind” is a common sentiment. i know i wouldn’t be a good mom because i know what it entails and i simply don’t want to do it. so sadly these women think having kids is just what they’re supposed to do and anything else would go against what they’ve been told is “normal” for their whole lives. there’s obviously a huge discrepancy between who is pressured into having children lmao the sex that’s been called “warm and nurturing” are going to feel more responsible.

Also people are crazy with how they view swinging cause it’s very much a consent forward arrangement, boundaries need to be sent and not broken or it leads to messes. And the soft swinging that she was aware of is totally different from full swinging where she wasn’t involved. I think she takes perfect accountability for her actions.

Also when is being the woman every man wants to cheat with and disrespecting your husband in the process EVER a thing to aspire to? Are ppl high? Taylor is awful. My only problem about them is when my partner decides to try and open our relationship after dating for a while (2 months minimum) just because they know I have had open relationship in the past. Having a open relationship doesn't work if people are keeping secrets or if no one is communicating properly.

About everything here, like two things can be true at ones. You can have polyamory as an emotional abuse / neglect, but at the same time, there are people in relationships that thrive and love to have multiple people to love. One doesn’t eliminate the other🙃 You have a logical opinion around 90% of the time, IMO of course, especially around these things that people that do commentary, seem to misinterperate/think more emotionally. So I just wanted to thank you for continuing to make these videos, giving a logical response, so that people that are on the fence or just have an open mind, can hear another type of opinion🥰🙌🏼✨️

When I was 22 I got married to my first love. I knew he was cheating or wanted to cheat but I didn’t want to face the truth. One year into the marriage he asked for an open marriage. I was very hesitant at first because he was my first everything. I did not want anyone else but over time the thought of him cheating behind my back consumed me. I wanted to get divorced but since I come from a very traditional and very misogynistic family I knew I would get shunned for being a divorced woman so I agreed to the open marriage. Long story short I found out he wanted an open marriage to date HIS first love again guilt free to see if they could work it out. I left him and asked for a divorce as soon as I found out. Surprisingly, my family was okay with the divorce but my exhusband told everyone I was the one who gave up and broke our marriage. In the end you win some and you lose some. Don’t ever agree to an open relationship or an open marriage if you’re not 100% on board with it because there’s a very high possibility you’ll be the one who gets hurt in the end.

I think it’s easy to forget about some of the crazier things she did at the beginning of the show because it was only the first two or three episodes that were focused on her wrong doings. I also think people wouldn’t be as sympathetic to Taylor if they heard all this stuff about the swinging first. The show kept the actual swinging scandal very vague.

So i used to be a part of the "alternative" relationship community. I wittnessed countless men who demanded of their wives to enter into open relationships with them because the men believed that they would have women sleeping with them left, right and center. Only to quickly realize that not only would they not have women throwing themselves at them, but that their wives would be the ones to get all of the attention and have zero problems with finding sex partners. The husbands would immediately become bitter, jelouse AND accuse their wives of cheating. Men, be careful what you wish for. That lifestyle isnt an all you can eat buffet and your wife will get ALL the attention.

from a very outside perspective (haven’t seen whatever show, haven’t seen them on socials etc) and just tuning in bc i like the vids lol- i have to say i am actually horrified by these tiktok commenters siding with taylor and this repeated rhetoric of “she did want this” “she did like it” “she didn’t want it to end”. when are people going to connect the dots between these statements and the same exact rhetoric being used by abusers and actual r*pists to try to avoid avoid accountability for their actions when the victim speaks out. consent can be revoked at any time but also it isn’t even consent in the first place when the person technically has giving their “consent” is doing so under COERCION!!! to keep seeing these comments parroting taylor’s piss poor response like it’s the ultimate comeback and mocking this woman is so genuinely sad to see, whatever happened to empathy?

I've had A LOT of experience with swingers for someone who isn't a part of the community. One of the most poignant lessons I have learnt through my interactions is there is a BIG difference between those who identify as swingers and those who I identify as Ethically Non-Monogamous. Another important thing I've learnt from the Kink lifestyle is that the majority of swingers have a far more maleable view of what constitutes consent than kinksters (and the law). 🤷

as someone who was the dead behind the eyes participant in an open relationship, your “hot take” was entirely correct LMFAO

Oh my god the momtok women stress me out so bad. I don't care about their lives. I care about their influence and impact. Viewers are watching like its only entertainment and not cult rhetoric in action!!

Unpopular opinion but I really couldn’t stand Jessi and Demi on RLOMW. This situation though I’m fully on Kenna’s side (as much as I can be as someone who doesn’t truly follow it and has just seen the show). Taylor can’t know everything she is feeling and idk it’s just messy
