The law and order of the Central Government has inflicted miseries upon the locals of Longwa Village and the Naga people living beyond the border. Now, Longwa people are asked to produce Aadhar Card even to go to farms on the Myanmar side. Longwa has agricultural land both in India and Myanmar territories. They have been living at the present location for 4-5 centuries now. It was only in the later part of the 20th Century, without any consent from the locals, the imaginary boundary line was drawn dividing the village between two countries. In a scenario as such, the cries and appeals of the people to restore FMR and to grant special rights should be considered by the GoI.

But this fencing won't stop this issue in Nagaland because the border security doesn't do their job well. Better use this money on poverty roads or infrastructure.
