Every note, every phrase, suburb! But the icing on the cake, which was so good it made me laugh because it was so brilliant, was the ascending arpeggio through the harmonics to end with a vibrato neck bend. Simply the best.

yeh, the neck bend made me laugh with delight too. It was so unexpectedly right, as to be the best. As though to say to all the cliche'd uses of the technique that have ever gone before, _"no mate, this is how and when your supposed to do it"_ An the whole guitar playing world responds like you and me, with the rare laugh of true admiration.

Such a clean sound. So lucky to have seen him live a few times, a couple of those with his brother Phil when they were ‘the Emmanuel Brothers’. First time in 1985 at the North Wollongong Hotel.

I saw Tommy many years ago at the Orange Blossom Junction near Exeter, California. I came early to the meet-n-greet and got my guitar autographed. He allowed me a song request and Mona Lisa is the song I requested. I'll never forget his SWAG guy's face when I said I'll take one of everything. :) I also saw him the following night in Fresno, California, where I brought the inserts out of the several CD's I had bought the night before, and got them all autographed. Fun times!

Играл он на гитаре ,,МОНА ЛИЗА", А в Лувре у картины экспертиза Составила правдивый документ : Когда взял Томми в руки инструмент, То ЛИЗА чуть заметно улыбнулась : Все видели - она и покачнулась И пальчиком немножко шевельнула, Для Томми чуть ресничкой подмигнула... ( 15 октября 2024.)
