MONACHE MEADOWS OVERLANDING 2023

OVERLANDING Monache Meadows. What an off-roaders dream! Inclines, declines, boulders, ruts, narrow trails and the best water crossings. Disperse camping everywhere you look. Great fishing for the Legendary Golden trout and the weather is great! If you like hiking there’s hundreds of trails for you too hike. I have found this to be one of, if not my favorite place to Overland. High clearance vehicles are a must and preferably four-wheel-drive. But for that reason alone, it will keep all the yahoos out and let us true aventures in.  Just remember to leave it better then you found it and enjoy all that it has to offer! Thanks to Overland Vehicle Systems for having great quality gear from my RTT to my slide out kitchen, rack, 270 awning, shower room, light bar, drawer system, up down twin air compression and recovery gear. Thanks for watching! The way in is down hill so you will have drops and the way out now you have to climb those drops. If you have some clearance and 4wd you shouldn’t have any problems. If your 2 wheel drive I just recommend having a friend with 4wd incase he needs to pull you up. It’s a very fun trail and not super difficult but is technical. I hope you enjoy your trip! South fork of the kern river. There is no Monache creek in that area.

We’re going to have to agree to disagree. My OnX maps show them in the same local area. Also when your on the trail it forks at that location and has National Forrest signs stating it. With all that said it doesn’t really matter does it? We’re just out enjoying ourselves. If you ever want to do a trip together let me know
