My favorite fresh summer salad is the Niçoise salad 🥗 there are so many Gluten Free options available that weren’t available when I first learned I was allergic to gluten/wheat in 2010. That was the same year when a young boy died from his birthday ice cream cake because of a reaction to the gluten. And that summer was when I was in Ischia with my then Italian boyfriend. Everywhere we went they had options which was nice. I just turned 50 but since then, I find my body is much happier to eat hydrating foods rather than the drying grains. Less bloating and discomfort. It’s lovely to witness you with Filippo - how wise you both are! I was in the USAF & worked for NATO years ago… many Italian friends I worked with & am still close to. ☺ Hermés is my all time favorite! I love your cat eye glasses the ones you wore on the boat.

Agree angel!!! I usually have need 1 week minimum of not doing anything during a vacation, as well as I love adventure adrenaline vacations, and visiting one new country a year and learn their culture etc. you only have one life and as long as you can move do and experience things you love. 😂only lawyers, doctors and pharmacists.. I often feel like we were risen by the same parents.. I remember that “we are not…” sentences very well I grew up in ex Yugoslavia 😂 start to think all the parents were the same there and yes, soo strict. Interesting you mentioned how the hotel was less crowded last year We had the same experience with our Monaco hotel and Monaco in general. Da Valentino definitely is the best restaurant in Monaco for me if you want quality food and excellent service with genuine hospitality❤ Thank you for sharing this part of your trip with us and congrats on the IG growth

About the nightmares…. Past two weeks I was also on a vacation after a loong hard working period and almost every night I had nightmares a lot 😮even it wasn’t happening anything bad in the reality🙂 I think it’s because we work so much and when the brain is on a pause or it should be we have those nightmares

When we have a heavy meal, and don’t sleep well we blame it on the meat sweats. Meaning high calories which make you hot, toss and turn, dream etc. Your pharmacy dream sounds like a stress dream, probably because you are relaxing.

It;s perfectly acceptable to love your family to pieces and still recognize their limiting beliefs and consciously choose not to accept those beliefs as rules for how you live your own life. I'd say you're doing fine. Don't spend too much time ruminating on it though because you've already done the hard part of using that "rejection/protection" as fuel, choosing to follow your own dreams and making them reality. You've already learned the lesson. Just be happy. That's the real secret. 💖

Yeah I agree - apart from a short walk. We’re going to BarcellonTenerife 5* - half board _ dinner & breakfast for 7 days. So we don’t drive - we relax & maybe go a walk to the beach. Go to a bar fr lunch fr prawns & maybe sangria…. That’s relaxing. Our last holiday was 3 nights in Istanbul & then a weeks Greek cruise round to Rome - that was too exhausting as you’re on and off the boat all the time…
