Lisa's a very good lead guitarist, Aldo fab on ukulele, bass, cello and obviously is a brilliant singer. Mona's also a superb singer, an excellent rhythm guitarist and also plays bass, harmonica, drums, flute, piano accordion, recorder, er... Have I forgotten anything?

After listening to this recording I went back and played the remastered Beatles original. All credit to John and the band for creating the song, but the MonaLisa Twins bring a faster tempo and richer harmonies. It sounds like they may have folded in Lisa on the backing vocals after they got back to the studio.

Wow I just came across this. They are sensational on this! One of the Beatles best of their early ones. This cover was absolutely impeccable!!! Never heard of these girls. I saw a sensational American duo Mike Masse and Jeff Hall playing on youtube in a pizza bar in Salt Lake City. 4 years later my dream came true - they played to a full house in London at a gig I was privileged to attend. You know, I love these ladies and they are remarkable, but I noticed something for the first time. Normally, you really can't detect that they have a strong accent when they talk, at least not in their music, but in this song I can, more so than usual. Even with that, I still love the song. One thing about the MLT's is that they clearly pronounce every word, so you can hear the songs very clearly. I tell as many people as I know, and that's quite a few people, about the ML Twins. For one thing, they are just nice people and clearly love good music, but more than that, they are great talents.
