totally. I like the stage presence of both. They can really deliver - if they were given good lines. Monarch so far, did a "meh" job on the writing point. Specially 3,4,5,6 were underwelming. They served the drama but didn't catch it. Let's see if the final episodes will redeem this slow pace, bad writing....

This is incredible, I'm not a big Godzilla fan but love Kurt Russell and will watch whatever movie he makes. He can't do anything wrong. The father-son story line was the best! I hope they are bringing this back for as many seasons as possible. LOVE it and HIGHLY recommend it!

Ngl, i do think that the show is amazing, and part of me tells me that people complain because of less monster action and more human drama, like look at Minus One, Godzilla has screentime less than the humans yet is still a masterpiece, now i do notice that there are some flaws of the writing, but by the time of Episode 8, not only are we getting more flashbacks of 50s, the present day characters are starting to get improved a little, especially with Cate and Tim (excluding Lee because he was always good from the start) as Cate now no longer complains about her dad (now don't get me wrong, there are some cases where people complain about parents) and she starts to understand Lee Shaw and even sympathizes with him, because they lost their lived ones, like how Cate lost her students due to Godzilla's accidental destruction and how Lee lost Keiko to Endoswarmers, and Tim seems to be likable and kind of funny. I'm excited to see the next 2 episodes, and i gope Keiko is still alive.

Whyatt Russell is a person i can really see on the big cinema. He got his own Charisma like his Father and you can feel his stage presence. I would wish for some better writing, specially in the drama scenes where most of the actual dialogs fall pretty short.

My husband and I watched the first 2 episodes without knowing any of the cast aside from Kurt Russel - he needs no introduction :)) We kept talking about how they found the literal PERFECT actor to play his younger self - like, nailed it! Then I was reading about the show and realized they were actually father & son! It was pretty funny & great but really kinda showed me how some fallen apples stay so close to their trees. Great duo, we really enjoyed the show!

I like the show! But man, I wish it more focused on Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell instead of The Randas and May who just aren’t interesting characters. Kurt is awesome in the show and I got giddy when he said “Stop him? I’m trying to help him.” Hearing my beloved childhood actor saying he wants to help Godzilla my beloved childhood character made me feel happy. I love the 50’s segments too! Keiko is possibly my favorite character! I’m fine with a human character driven show with monsters, but the human characters they focus on the most are not likable and are flat. This show needed to be episodic with a monster of the week feel like X-Files. The daddy issues story dragged. I enjoy this show still and I can’t wait for the final two episodes! More Kurt Russell pleases!!
