Monasterevin Canal Repairs

Just over to Monasterevin for a visit to see the work being carried out on the canal at Bell Harbour. So much work going on and it looks like it could be finished soon and this beautiful spot can be once more.

Interesting how the workers like to get in and out of the canal at (almost) the same spot the swans like to!

Thank you. The harbour walls were all caving in and had to be replaced and built up again. It turned out a huge job that went way over budget I believe.
