i was a kid , i studied at Mayfouk , and i have a lot of memories of this place .. i remember i was always the last student who goes home for holidays , so i had all the place to play . many times i go to the little chapel near the whole convenant , i play i am a priest, and many times old people come to pray , and i find out that they are answering me , i get shy but they encourage me to continue ☺

O sooo kind of you what you wrote.. and you look you were Happy... i know a guy who studied in Mayfouq but he was not happy.. his name is Johnny Korab... Every stone block; every steppingstone was put in place one at a time by human hands. This in itself is a tremendous source of reflection. Thank you, William for 'taking us' to this precious place of reflection, and for also providing a very nice concise historical write up on its origin and history. :)
