Monastiraki, Drama -- A Trip to Tradition

4km from Drama, we visit the village Monastiraki, which has secured a ritual rooted in antiquity. We meet the "Arapides," men dressed with heavy goatskin costumes, large bells and imposing masks, who on Epiphany Day relive an ancient celebration. Later on, we watch the village's women dressed in their Macedonian costumes dance traditional dances

BTW It's Koukeres not Arapides. It'a not all over the Balkans. You can't see that in south Greece or Serbia.
