Noticed the leather strapped version is a polished watch case vs the brushed one on the stainless banded one. Would really like to to see the polished watch with the stainless band, which I think means I need to buy the leather and an additional stainless band.

its a standard sw200-1 non decorated , usually +-8-10 you can expect

Thanks for the review. I have an old quartz mondaine from 12-13 years ago and thought to check what they have now. This brushed case and 40mm case definitely work better. My one is around 42 :)

SW220 has day/date wheel, on the watch the day was not shown, so it's underneath the dial. For example Sinn 104 use the same movement.@@fpeter01

it's where the movement has a date ability but the face doesn't have a cutout to display it

You describe the design as simplistic - sorry, but no. It is beautifully simple, a great compliment indeed, and difficult to do right. Simplistic means something else entirely; the words are not interchangeable. Aside from that, good video, thank you. 👍

Secondhand does not pause at the turn of the minute than triggers the minute hand. Fail! It is an ordinary quartz watch with designer costume and elevated price. Sooo thick too, gross :(

It says AUTOMATIC on the dial. You are thinking of the Stop2Go quartz movements... which this isn't.
