Alison Weir is my favorite historian for Tudor history. My first book of hers was Eleanor of Aquitaine. I haven’t read her queen novels, only her earlier novels. But I do own almost all her Tudor history books, I won’t tell you I haven’t read all of them but most of them. 🌻🍄🌻

I imagine this sort of video can be called “A Rainy Day Reading Report”.

Wow. You must be a speed reader, a lot of books to read in a day.

Steve you are not going to believe this: i have been watching your old videos in order and in one of your hauls from 8!!!! years ago you showed Innocent Traitor. Imagine my surprise when i found a hardback copy in a church charity shop in São Paulo for 5 reais (less than a dolar). And now your are re-reading it? C'mon lol

Steve there are owls in Atlanta, Georgia. You can hear them in the early morning but I’ve never seen them.

Steve WiFi travels through cables. It is not affected by the rain.

Riiiiight. Sure.

Wi-Fi is transmitted using radio waves, so is indeed wireless. Radio waves shouldn’t be affected by rain, so Steve’s issues are likely due to his service provider using satellite antennas, rather than inclement weather at his home. Please explain if you are a professional in this area, so I understand it better. Thanks! 😺✌️

My home has a landline phone connection that we no longer use. The line is underground and every time we got a substantial rainfall, the line would go out for a day or two. The phone company wasn’t able to correct the problem ( it was always up and running by the time they managed to come out to the house anyway). Since we were primarily using cellphones, it made complete sense to discontinue the landline.

@@Unpotted I'll do the invitations for elaboration, thanks. And those elaborations will be demonstrably wrong in this case, anyway: my Wi-Fi is always dodgy while it's raining, and I'm far, far from the only person who experiences that.
@Queue.TАй бұрын
@Unpotted yes technically this is true. The WiFi signal in your home is transmitted by radio waves but the data reaches your router via a sequence of fiber optic cables. The reason the internet seems slower during the rain is because everyone is at home using their WiFi, think of it like internet rush hour.. but apart from physical damage to the lines and a resulting outage the rain will have no effect on your internet speeds or connectivity.
