dunetiger. I’m a hardcore Ji Hyo fan in this show. She wasn’t called Ace for nothing. Now I don’t enjoy RM anymore. I also didn’t like the way she was kicked out of the show for a while with JK after Gary left. The producers didn’t appreciate her contribution to make the show so popular.

I am pretty sure, even for a slightest moment, both of them were interested in each other but not considering the feeling further because they convinced their selves it was just for work. Or they do start a relationship but didn't work out. The latter is unlikely to happen.

Yes I’m sure too the attraction was there but probably didn’t go further because of the situation. If they dated, the dynamics would be different a there would be awkwardness for the others to flirt with her, and also if they broke up, it would be worse. How could they work together then. The fact that he had a secret gf whom he got pregnant didn’t help. I feel he really had genuine feelings for JH because if he didn’t why leave the show, as it was only a fake relationship?

Hate to burst people’s bubbles but they were just doing it for the show. Ji Hyo has dated guys outside of the show while her and Gary were a love live. The love line was just to help boost viewer ratings and make the show more interesting. Neither were actually in love with each other they were just being professional.

@@JJ-fi2no nah their first moments were legit, Gary even admitted it, I think it was episode 206, they both said they only saw each other as friends/coworkers at that point, but in the earlier episodes their feelings were definitely different but it just didn't evolve to anything. I'm not saying the were in love or anything, but I do think Gary was genuinely interested in her at the beginning.

i’m really glad and happy for gary and his family. but everytime the song “the girl who can’t break up, the guy who can’t leave” comes up on the return of superman, my mind just automatically is reminded of these moments in RM. not just the monday couple, but just.. everything. it’s like reminiscing a beautiful past. started watching in 2011, i thought i’d get bored of this show but damn this show is something else. it holds a special place in my heart. sorry i got emotional i just really love running man it helped me through a heck lots of tough times😭❤️

Personally for me, this couple is incomparable. We see their progress from the beginning. Its all full of funny, lovely and even sad moments. They are really good together. Monday couple is one of the best thing happened in RM. To Gary, I always respect your decision, but I will never stop hoping you will comeback even just for 1 episode. Send my regards to Kang Ha Oh. At first its obvious that Gary has intention to Ji Hyo but Ji Hyo think that it's only for work and keep ignoring gary and she also said that she likes HaHa that time, but in the end Ji Hyo fell inlove to Gary when its too late, she fell in love to Gary when Gary dating a girl (which is his wife now) If you watch Running Man you can see that Gary always approach Ji Hyo at first but Ji Hyo keeps ignoring him but when Gary about to quit RM it seems like he's not interested anymore to Ji Hyo and that time Ji Hyo has feelings for him, well, repentance is in the end.

I have a similar moments just like Monday Couple. The guy was my first love and my high school friend. He showed everyone that he fell in love me just the way Gary-oppa did to Jihyo. But I ignored him. I told him I hate him but in the end I fell in love with him which was too late for me. He lost interest with me and date another girl. Now it's even harder for both of us to talk or meet since my friends are his friends too. Surely it was the sweetest and saddest moment in my life.
