You still might be able to make a pusher out of that, use just the shell around where the pusher pieces go in and cut down the ratchet arm. (Or even, use the ratchet arm as the pusher and remove the original pusher) Then you'd have a, still fairly bulky, but self contained pusher.

Captain Xavier Another good tip video, Cap'n. You did miss an opportunity with the butt plate on the stock, though... You could have doubled down by getting footage of how to deal with solvent welds and glue, and gotten next week's video done early. 😛 More importantly, though: whatcha do to your finger this time? Seems like you've got a bandaged digit in at least one video a month... Does, perhaps, The Wife need to send gloves instead of hats? 😁

My printer broke a couple months ago and it has a whole lot of screws (washer headed too!) and flat pieces of plastic. Sadly, the wire is too thin to be of any use for powering nerf guns but there are a lot of connector things which could help for low-voltage stuff like lights. It's kinda surprising that a printer has stuff that is useful for nerf modding.
@CaptainXavier4 жыл бұрын
Neat! I never thought of that. And the wires would probably be good as signal wire for things like MOSFETS.
@liamthepyro4 жыл бұрын
Good idea! It also had one or two things that look like weird switches that have a flap that gets pulled down when about 9 volts get put into them. Pretty much solenoids but with a flap. Still trying to find a good use for them.

I have a multitude of old blasters. They all have the catch springs and lots of them have cool shells. The collection includes a rapidstrike, and old air tech blaster, a deploy, and a few buzzbee blasters. Would you be willing to trade a modded nightfinder for these? Of course I would also pay. If you are interested, tell me and we can email each other. I just figured you would see this before you saw an email. I know how many emails you get in a day.

Depends on what tools and skills you have. There are simple things like removing the AR, brassing the breach, lubricating, and improving the seals. More advanced things include making it direct plunger, flywheel (internal or an after burner), air powered, or a power stock.

Very unrelated comment, but how much is an original green rayven worth, on a bid war for one on ebay
@CaptainXavier7 жыл бұрын
The thing about Capitalism is that something is worth what someone will pay for it. I have 3 of them so I wouldn't pay $5 for another one. To someone who does not have one, and may never again have the chance to acquire one, it could be worth $500. What is it worth to you?
@Delta_Sandman7 жыл бұрын
i just picked up a new rayvenfire for like 40$, and i have an original green one that has dying motors, so yea, idk. really depends bc usually the buy it nows can be fairly cheap
@nathantalisien42847 жыл бұрын
I'd pay, at most, $30 for one in really good condition. It's basically a Stryfe with a cooler shell... If the price rises above that, I'll buy a Stryfe and mod the shell instead. Also- and this is SUPER important on eBay- that $30 I mentioned *INCLUDES* shipping prices; too many times I've seen blasters at fair prices become hideously expensive because of shipping cost. What good does it do to get a $40 blaster for $20, if you then have to pay an extra $40 to ship the darned thing?
@Delta_Sandman7 жыл бұрын
ouch. $40 shipping is ridiculous. at that point, find a Kohls and pay 43 ish for a new one (different paint job tho)
@nathantalisien42847 жыл бұрын
[DvWr] Sandman Yeah, exactly my point. Always find out shipping before you bid or buy... some sellers don't list an obvious shipping price. Any time there isn't a rate specified, it feels kinda scammy to me, and I move on.
