can you be a little more specific about the clearance between the flywheel base and the cage? would it be benaficale to use a small spacer to maintain clearance and eveness. perhaps something like a flat tooth pick?

Yes it would. I highly recommend some kind of spacer so the match perfectly. The exact amount is going to vary from cage to cage and wheels to wheels so you will just have to test each one.

after adding these to the cage did you notice any difference in performance or even the loudness. im super curious about these wheels especially the ones that are supposed to be specifically for the canted cage. i have the gold cage and kinda wanna try em but dont wanna waste my money.

I noticed that you didn’t need to rebalance the tension on the two grub screws. Is this something that we should be careful of, or is it not a significant issue when centring the flywheels? I’m also wondering if the glue is necessary, or just a recommendation? The permanency of glue scares me a little D:

+J yang the shaft is a tight enough fit that balance it not really and issue. Yes, it is neccessarry. However, and it is metal on metal so most glues will hold against vibration but not against a screw driver. I mentioned this in the previous video but not this one.

Hey captain do you know of any replacement for the back of a long shot plunger tube? My screw ports decided to crack because of too much pressure from the spring.

you might need to get a metal plunger tube and or an upgrade kit for the longshot. if the pressure broke it, then another stock plunger tube will probably break as well.

Hello Captain I was wondering this may not be your thing but could you make a mod guide for the Demolisher mine seems to be a little under underperforming it doesn't seem like it's getting enough power could you use the original wiring and stuff

The easiest upgrade is simply to use IMR batteries. Anything beyond that an you are going to have to replace internals.

Hey Cap. do you know of any secrets on how to make the flywheels setup as quiet as possible? I realize they'll never be silent but I'm just wondering that's the best method to minimize the amount of sound they put off. They only thing I've found was in one of Out of Darts videos I believe he mentioned using the aluminum cages over plastic ones. Got any other ideas oh wise and holy sorcerer of all things Nerf?

Some motors are quieter than others (fang revamps and kraken I believe). Some people add foam to the blaster interior (dead space) to cut down vibrations. Some wheels are quieter than others (I don't know which). Metal cages definitely help. Making sure everything is well secured. There are lots of little things that can add up

Push...harder! :D Or get a REALLY small drill bit and bore it out a bit...but then you risk going too far and ruining them completely. I have heard of some people having to create special jigs to get flywheels on. I have not had to...yet...

Aluminium flywheels with grub screws are total waste of money. I used epoxy metal, threadlocker and keyed the motor shafts. I used the worker and artifact varents. The grub screws worked loose after 1k darts of varying types. They also destroy the darts. My advice, go with the plastic ones. Same performance less significantly problems. The newer worker metal flywheels, have plastic inserts rather than grub screws. Which speaks volumes.
