I was 26 years old when I first got saved and when I first fast in my life… I didn’t have a rulebook, I didn’t follow this law or that law… I just knew I wanted my parents to be saved and to know Jesus Christ also, so I wanted to fast for them… I did a complete fast just water… I did this for almost a week… And my parents were wondering why I wasn’t eating… Because at that time I still was living at home… Around the end of the fast… I was driving my car one day and I can’t explain it but I felt a cool breeze blowing on my face, it wasn’t a hot day… So I didn’t know where that cool breeze was coming from… The windows in my car were also not down… The air conditioner was not on… As I pondered Where The cool breeze was coming from I suddenly heard a small soft voice say the wind blows and you do not know where it goes or comes from… So it is with the Holy Spirit and with that my whole body lit up like a Christmas tree. I felt the presence of the Lord for the first time in my car as I was driving… I had to pull over I was crying… I heard a small voice literally was coming out of my heart saying I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, and I actually said “please stop my heart feels like it’s going to pop”… And then I heard a small soft voice say your parents are going to be saved… And with that the presence was gone. I believe I had this experience because well I guess the Lord knows I need it to be told that I was loved… I won’t go into that. But also I fasted And God honored that fast. 15 years later both my parents received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I am now 64 years old, I have seen many things before my eyes that God has done… God bless

Psalm 18:29 Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men! You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence From the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion From the strife of tongues. Psalm 31:19-20 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11 Lord Jesus glorify yourself in my attitude and the manner in which I face and respond to situations that I find difficult or unpleasant. Send your Holy Spirit to transform my mind and understanding, so that my perceptions and interpretations are aligned with yours. Help me keep my attention and trust anchored on you, so I am not intimidated or discouraged by people or circumstances. Help me see things clearly, keep me from jumping to conclusions or acting impulsively. Seal my heart and mind with your blood, protect me against the enemy's attempts to deceive me. Thank you Jesus because I can always come to you with my needs and concerns. Fill me with your perfect love that drives away fears and your peace that passes understanding. May this also be so for all who love you, make me an instrument of your peace. Holy is your name, Lord. Amen.
