it shouldn't have, but I believe the Subaru blew a boost pipe when he was a good few lengths ahead of me half way down the strip and sensibly slowed right down to prevent any more unnecessary damage :)

Was surprised by the low torque figures of this duratec motor.

yeah i did have the car put on rolling road - peaked at 188.7bhp @5600rpm then the torque never went below 160ft/lb from as low as 2000rpm and peaking at 175ft/lb @5100rpm - not shattering performance in the slightest but that low end torque made the car

@@jj-tq4hx they eat through front lower arms like theres no tomorrow, make sure sills and rear arches arent too rusted although the climate in spain shouldnt affect as bad as here in the UK - mine in these vids was knocking on the door of 150,000 miles and still gave that output so if the servicing is up to scratch it should be all good. a lot of people fitted the plastic prop water pump which eventually wears down and causes overheating - metal ones are available for under £40 when i got mine and thats about it really :)
