Mondo has revealed their newest line of 1/6 Scale Figures with the announcement of the Thundercats at C2E2 in Chicago. Lion-O will be the first action figure produced and will include Snarf, 4 Additional Head Sculpts, The Sword Of Omens, Claw Shields, Ceremonial Cloak and Thunder Blast Effect.

I was worried about the texture until I saw that it goes up to his chin, that made it make more sense to me compared to the drawing where it looks like just his head is bare. I hope that maybe the waist armor is removable in case people do want that closer to animated version. But I can say this definitely made me lean away from going all in on the animated Spider-Man figures, Mondo takes enough with the MOTU line and now Thundercats and Real Ghostbusters?

That snarf should be articulated, with extra head and hands for the time edition. Skeletor have a dragon that moves tail, head legs, jaw ect.

🤔 I'd Like to See Mondo Create 1/6 Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers⭐️ figure's and Villains in future. But its Smaller 80s Animated series that never had chance to Show off it's true Potential... so doubt it'll get the Chance.

Jesus Christ. My wallet is tapped out. I'm still paying off Cat's Lair and 3 Mondo MOTU figures. Lol. I may be very select and just get Lion-O and Mumm-Ra, but that's the lie I said about only getting He-Man and Skeletor, and now I'm 10 figures and 2 steeds in!

1) That's not Lion-o, its Lion-Oh!. 2) Jay we love you brother but no matter how much you may say and try to 'convince' us that you like the new suit, its not the one we really want man, I'm sorry but no, you know it deep inside too, don't deny it, you know it, we know it, they know it, its the speedo that does the trick bro, :) no speedo no Liono, I don't understand why everyone has a fixation with changing that (That's how the character is, deal with it - I don't see anyone complaining for he-mans 'speedo') 4) Learn from Super7. 5) This is not TMNT X MOTU we had enough of the samurai crap, this is Thundercats we are talking about. 6) Yes we love the figure and we love that Mondo is doing it, but under conditions: a) If they will include the samurai pants, fine with me, but make them removable, we should have the speedo right below, anyone who wants to display his figure with samurai pants on fine by me, but don't 'deprive the rest of us' from the original design that we all remember and love. b) The wristband needs to be removable. c) If they will include the samurai outfit (including the top armor, then it needs to be removable and perhaps add the classic armor as an extra so that we can choose how to display him. Look at Skeleton deluxe, they gave us 4 variations (or more) in one figure. d) New sword, don't like it. If they will include this new curved sword, they should also include a classics sword as well, I mean how hard can it be? Just throw in an extra sword Mondo, we paying you 250usd afterall. Right? The only way for this figure to sell well and also to please the fans, is by including the classic armor as well and making the whole armor thing removable. I'm sorry but as a true fan this is what I think and im sure many here think the same. I have 'begged' Mondo in emails to actually listen and give us the classic outfit as well. We shouldn't have even been discussing this, give us the classic then do whatever you want, just don't give us this Samurai crap, that aint Liono. Oh and lastly those are not Liono's hands, that's not how they look like, I would have preferred to have them as the cartoon is, a bit pointy but not actual claws...come on Mondo! (In that case please give us a set of normal hands as well if you are keeping the lion claws) Then we are all happy. Oh one more thing...the shoes guys, the soles...yellow? They look like Caterpillar brand shoes or Timberland shoes. Come on Mondo whats all this?? As excited as I was to hear the same dissapointed I was as well, I don't know how else to explain it. Mondo please fix this while you can, listen to the fans for once! There's still time. Again the heads are great but there's just something missing its like its not liono he looks too angry. We don't see lionos 'innocence' in any of the extra heads.
