You wouldn't believe how many times I questioned saying that! But I was told to say what I feel, and be me about it. I'm definitely not to thank for any of the amazing work Mondraker has done, but hope I get to be part of what we do in future!

Wuhuu Doddy! Welcome back to content creator land! Best of luck with your new eandeavour @ moiondraker! I remember meeting Cesar Rojo (sp?) waaay back when with one of the forst protos with a longer frontend, and for the first time ever I didn’t feel like a giant on a bike :) sadly the rest of the bike wasn't for me :/ so my favorite is that first proto because it opened my eyes that my old bike was way to small :D Great video! learned a few things even my nerd brain did not know about Moondraker’s DH bikes :) and you mde me feel old… used to ride with an ipod… :P
@DoddyMTBtech10 ай бұрын
Ha ha, sorry that last comment about the iPod made me laugh. My boss and I were laughing about other tech and trends that were around when landmark bikes appeared, so that's why that stuff ended up in the script! Very cool that you got to meet Cesar back then - he's a lovely guy and is so tuned in to bike development. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I love Mondraker bikes and have one myself, but why does no one from Mondraker support ever respond via contact form or email? Personally, I have never had a question about my bike answered and I know a lot of people with the same experience. I actually don't know anyone who has ever received a response from Mondraker Support. Why is that?

Isn't the first one a rebranded Intense like a lot of other companies were doing at the time?
@DoddyMTBtech10 ай бұрын
Not quite. When people were rebranding Intense they were literally buying Intense bikes and putting their decals on (nothing wrong with that). The Petrol - like many in this era - shares a lot of similarities but wasn't an Intense. The Intense front triangles used a monocoque style construction, as opposed to tubes and/or hydroformed tubes. The back end though, is very similar. Like many other bikes from this era like the Azonic Recoil . Whatever though, that style worked at the time!
