The translation is below: When will I be united with the Man of my Heart? Day and night like a rainbird I long for the Dark Moon, hoping to become his maidservant. But this is not my fate. When baul culture emerged bangladesh was a part of bengal. we dont know where baul culture exactly originates from, but it is west bengali literature that first records their existence. Lalon fakir was born in khulna, which completely borders several west bengal states. Our cultures are tied lol.
