To control the money supply in the open market government needs to use some tools of pubic finance i.e. Fiscal Policy and Monetary Policy.

Sir I have a doubt I hope u clear it. (1) Monetary policy means central authority control the money supply and rate of interest in order to stabilize the economy. (2) Moneytary policy is a policy the central authority control the money supply and money demand to stabilize the economy. Sir which is currect above two? Sir I think that Moneytary policy that means central authority can't direct control money demand but can control money demand indirectly by rate of interest . People demand for mone is speculative that effect only in rate of interest, other motives are transaction and prescunary. Sir I confuse that which is currect and why please sir clear it.

Very Informative... Sir, I have some doubts ... 1. Both Fiscal policy and Monetary policy commonly used to control money supply in the market... So, My question is if suppose there is inflation in economy , so there is need to reduce money supply in the market, So, these fiscal policy and monetary policy apply simuteneosly or they have use some combination tools of both policy ... 2.. For Monetary Policy the various tools are used for Money supply , these tools are used simultaneously or Individually.... Pl clarify....
