Formal sector credit in India includes loans from banks and cooperatives. RBI supervises their functions of giving loans. They are probably the large coorperatives. Eg. 1) Punjab and Maharashtra Coorperative bank 2) Cosmos Bank Even i had the same ques bro.. I hope this has helped you

In self help group part there is written that after year or two year, if the group is continuous in savings, it becomes eligible for availing credit from the banks. So sir i have doubt that if self help groups are saved money then why they take credit from banks
