Now, I'm challenging myself to be more literate financially. I started saving up for my emergency fund and also started and MP2 account. I also monitor my expenses through my mobile phone. Next plan is to get myself a VUL. My journey has just started but I'm really happy that I made this decision. Thank you po for your videos and for sharing your knowledge. I'd surely keep all of your advices in my mind when I turn 20! Thank you so much! I've been looking for a content creator that explains these terms in a concise and simple way for a long time I really hope that we apply a course like this in our SHS Curriculum. These are all really good tips, especially number 1! it's so easy to think you can't save because you don't realise just how much you waste on food (my weakness) or clothes. Something I spoke about in my last video is understanding WHY you need to save, realising that the small amounts you save now could turn into big investments in future is always a lightbulb moment for the people I talk to. Hi po! I have a Physical Bank Account (Metrobank) pero I'm currently saving on my CIMB Account kasi it has better interest rates. I only use my physical bank account whenever I withdraw money from CIMB. Pero I read somewhere na CIMB doesn't issue Bank Certificates (daw?) and I'm planning to apply for a visa in the future. Should I transfer my money to my physical bank account now or let it grow on my CIMB first and transfer it later?
@CharmdeLeon4 жыл бұрын
Kareen Abiabi hi! CIMB actually issues Bank Certificates but you have to pick it up in their office in BGC (you can request through their customer service). If this is something that is nit possible for you, you can transfer it to your metrobank account and print out bank statements for your CIMB instead (since transferring funds affects the average daily balance of your acct, they will know if it’s just “show money”)
@CharmdeLeon4 жыл бұрын
To add: it’s the same with ING, they can’t deliver the bank certificates because it’s sensitive information. I hope they find a work around soon though. They have a lot of users outside Metro Manila.
@knabiabi4 жыл бұрын
@@CharmdeLeon Ahhhh, I was planning to transfer my money to ING kasi I thought they would issue Bank Certificates. Pero while reading their terms, I find CIMB easier to control my money since it's also linked with GSave. I won't be needing the Certificate now though, maybe 2-3 years from now. I hope CIMB's Certificate would be available by then. Thank you po! Hoping for more content like this 💕✨
