Note to self: only uses a single currency note. Quite complicated to fold. Looks good

She makes this look reasonably easy. It is not. Possibly because she is using a larger photocopy of a dollar bill.

Hi. The dollar bill note dimension is kept as the original. The size is larger to make it easier for beginner to follow

I made some monopoly money flowers with this to make a money tree and it came out really cute! The money was a little short so I had to skip the step that allows the money to tuck in and had to tape it instead
@FoldnCrease10 ай бұрын
That sounds like a fantastic idea! A money tree with Monopoly money flowers must look really unique and creative. It's great that you found a solution to make it work, even if the money was a bit short. Thanks for sharing your experience with us! 🌸💵🌳

I ended up with the basic shape but the petals are all different sizes.

Mines too 😂

It's great to hear that you were able to achieve the basic shape! For more uniform petals, make sure to fold each one carefully and pay attention to the alignment of the edges. Using a ruler or bone folder can also help create precise creases, resulting in more consistent petals. Keep practicing, and I'm sure your next attempt will turn out even better!

I was able to make this first try! Great tutorial. It is cute. Did you make your own oversized dollar bill for the tutorial or did you buy it? Copied? If you bought it can you share where? It makes it much easier to see. I would love to know the dimensions and paper weight you used so I can make some larger version of some of mine that are more difficult with a regular sized dollar bill.

@@FoldnCreaseDid I miss your response? It was just a copy of what I wrote. Where do you get the oversized fake $1 bill?

Hi. This was easy for me but when I finished the points were not closed all the way. I don’t know how this happened. Anyway can you PLEASE share the dimensions of that dollar bill thank you
@FoldnCrease11 ай бұрын
Hello! I'm glad to hear that the origami was easy for you, but I'm sorry to hear about the issue with the points not closing all the way. That can be frustrating! It's possible that small variations in folding or the thickness of the paper could have affected the final result. Regarding the dimensions of a standard US dollar bill, it's approximately 6.14 inches (15.6 cm) in width and 2.61 inches (6.6 cm) in height. These dimensions might vary slightly depending on factors like wear and tear, but they should give you a good starting point for your origami projects. If you need any further assistance or have any other questions, feel free to ask!

tried this with canadian currency and i will say it was very difficult but nice tutorial!
@FoldnCrease10 ай бұрын
I'm glad you found the tutorial helpful! Using Canadian currency can be a bit trickier due to differences in size and material, but I'm thrilled you gave it a try. Keep practicing, and I'm sure you'll master it in no time. Happy folding!

Dollar bill example is a bigger copy of a bill. Doing it with a normal U.S. bill is super small. Works tho!
@FoldnCrease7 ай бұрын
Thanks for pointing that out! Using a bigger copy does make it easier to see all the steps. If you're using a normal U.S. bill, you might need to be extra careful with the folds since it's smaller, but it definitely works! Happy folding! 💸✈️

Haha, that's a humorous observation! The perception of size can indeed vary depending on the context. In the case of origami or when handling currency, factors like hand size and the denomination of the bill can influence how we perceive objects. It's all relative! If you have any more questions or observations, feel free to share.

You're the damn problem. You aren't using money and yes that actually matters. Most every comment is the same. The problem is you. Not the viewer. You're also rude.
