LOL these conglomerates have been screwing over the Indian consumer. They have forced the Govt to impose high tariffs on imports so that they can sell us their cheap quality products. For example, Tesla has entered almost every market in Asia, bringing in jobs in sales, manufacturing and servicing. Chinese companies have even learned from Tesla and have been forced to innovate. Meanwhile in India manufacturing has slowed, EV adaption rates are low, and our charging infrastructure lags behind. Ford has left India, MG has been forced to downsize by collaborating with JSW, and VW seems to be heading for the door as well. If this was the USA, these companies would be broken up as they have a monopoly.

@@alonewarrior7612 Why? Most jobs in India are in the service sector. Even if Tesla imports vehicles, there will be jobs created in the service side. You would rather have no jobs than some? Elon Musk wants to test the waters in India. Instead of welcoming him, the Govt has acted in a way that he would never want to do business in India. Tesla only manufactures cars in three countries: USA, China, and Germany, yet other countries even Japan are okay with importing Teslas.

Hydrogen vehicles are inherently inefficient af, can never be cost competitive. EV: Electricity -> battery -> motor Hydrogen Vehicles: Electricity (for RO) + fresh water -> Treated water. Treated water + electricity -> Hydrogen gas + heat. Hydrogen gas + electricity -> compressed hydrogen + heat. Compressed hydrogen + transportation -> H2 in Vehicle gas tank. H2 in vehicle gas tank + Fuel cell -> electricity + water + heat. electricity -> small battery -> motor
