( You will get one 250 rs worth share for every 10 qty of ITC shares) ITC Current market price = 450 Rs approximately 10Qty of ITC shares = 4500 Rs Assuming ITC hotel price = 250 Rs. (Remember you receive this for 10 ITC shares) Amount that going to be deducted from 10 ITC shares for demerger = 250 Rs Post deduction = 4500 Rs - 250 Rs = 4250 Rs. ( Post demerger price of 10 qty of ITC shares) New price of 1 ITC share = 4250 Rs ÷ 10 = 425 Rs. It's will never become 350 Rs as you said.

1) Holding 10 shares of ITC would give 1 share of ITC hotels. So even if Hotels list at 300 ( the highest number i have seen among brokerage reports for ITC Hotels) , it would only result in a correction of 30 Rs. On Friday ITC closed at roughly 480. So Todays closing at 445 is at a discount even if you consider listing of ITC hotels at 300. Unga style la sollanum na , at this price ITC vaanga hockey thookitu odanum 2) The commentary on Tata Motors sounded misleading. It was as if sales of Tata Motors is > sales of Maruti which of course is not true. Punch was the highest sold model in the year. They have considered both Punch EV and Punch ICE together.

Sir, kindly review your ITC demerger comments. As per my understandi g, price discovery made was 25 i.e., difference between last traded price 481 to today's preopen price 455. Since the ITC hotel share is expected to list around 150, today's discovery is still higher by 10, which implies the pretrade price of ITC as 465. Hence, ITC price correcting by 20 to 445, I see this as an opportunity to consider. Kindly clarify me.
