How would it be different if a customer used Elastic Search on AWS along with DocumentDB? Specifically the comparison between Atlas Search and Elastic Search?

Very close comparison. Details of the use cases matter, so it is hard to generalize however both Atlas Search and elasticsearch (and OpenSearch and Solr too) are powered by Lucene underneath. If your data is comfortable for your use cases in Atlas, then Atlas Search is a few clicks away from having great search on your data!

as fas as i know serverless atlas search isn't supported yet, so how come saying there is no difference between serverless and dedicated 28:50
