This is very nice. South mongolian dancer is performing very good. The melody contains mongolian national melody.

Just amazing. I kept worrying the bowls would fall in the spins while watching the dance. I would guess such accident must have occured, even in final performances. If that happens, what a pity that would be! Everyone will sigh loudly and regret deeply for the dancer. She made it, beautifully. It must have been a very hard work. I am not concerned much about her ethinic or race or something, which is such an irrelevant topic to this fantastic presentation. Thanks for the sharing.

O.o.... how does the bowl not fall off?!?! This is a VERY impressive dance. I'm becoming obsessed with learning Asian dance forms :) Great job on the "Scent of Cream" dance... can you do this one also?

I am always amazed when I watch this. Truly remarkable! I am curious how many of those rice bowls she broke while rehearsing this :)

If we talk about ethinicity, she is actually Inner Mongolian, not Han, although either Mongolian or Han is okay to me. The key point here is the beautiful dance presented by the bautiful dancer. By using our limited ability, we can enjoy the dance, but we individuals usually cannot move the borders between countries. If we fuss about the latter, we often end up promoting curses or hatred, which are not productive or help to our health.

Sorry but it's not MONGOLIAN DANCE it's INNER MONGOLIAN DANCE!!! There is BIG difference. Inner Mongolia is now part of China but Mongolia is individual country. So pls change name. Sorry but you have to respect country too.

How do u know? R u Mongolian? I am and I don't think it is. I know Mongolian dance is what's like. But this is absolutely not, song is not mongolian too Sorry. But it's true

Music is hard to get. There's not really any "national" chinese dance, because there's so many ethnicities in China that it would be crude to say that there is one style for all of China.

The real Mongolians , the Chingiz tribe , settled in Iran and became "pasionate Iranians", they took the Iranian language, Iranian Religion and became desolved into Iranian civilisation. The great Monguls of India were are Iranians. Yes , nice lady and nice dance.

The dancer's name is Bao Hong (maybe she has another name that would sound more mongolian).

In China we have so many mongolian people also. Why can't chinese do it? Just like you learn English. Learn your mongolian language, don't learn English! If you can do it better, why there is no vidoe?
CHina doesn't include MONGOLIA!!!! Mongolia is independent and more beautiful country than Mongolia!!!! This dance is originated from Mongolia. The song and lyrics in the songs are all in Mongolian!!! It's not chinese dance, it's MONGOLIAN DANCE!!!!

Bliss Angelia Do you also support the ostracization of blacks in ballet then? Are only south Americans allowed to dance latin? Are only Europeans allowed to dance ballroom? You do realize the spread of culture has nothing to do with nationality and borders right? Most Mongolian dancers in China are ethnically Mongolian. Also there are 56 recognized ethnic groups in China, Mongolian is one of the largest after Han. So are you denying Chinese-Mogolians their culture because of where they are situated on a map? Because of China's large Mongolian population the Chinese government actually works with the Mongolian government to promote and protect Mongolian culture and art. Inner Mongolia's cultural experience is just as valid as Mongolia the country. Artists from Inner Mongolia adds a different perspective from being in a nation where they are not the dominant culture, and they express their experience through the vocabulary of their traditional art forms. A Mongolian dance performed in the context of Chinese dancers/ audience adds to the art not detract from it.

I have so sorry for Mongolians in china to forget their culture and turning into this so far away from Mongolian soul. After watching this I don't know who they are.
