Those breathy L's are killer to try and pronounce but absolutely lovely to listen to

The best way i can describe it, is by making a almost hissing sound and curl your tongue to the back placed on your molard teeth

tip: I know it's not the same but if you change it to russian you more or less get the pronunciation but not with Mongolian accent

This is a great lesson, thanks for your work. Just there is a mismatch in the video, "Please speak slowly" is translated into "удаан яриарай" in the first part, but later in the review, the sentence changes to "Could you speak slower? ", and it s translated into "удаан хэлээрэй". the verb is changed.

I also noticed, but they both mean "please speak"

One is "speak" one is "talk". Like really similar verbs if that makes sense.

Cool. I want to go there but I can't speak a word. Fortunately I can read Cyrillic and one of the cool things about Cyrillic is that it's basically phonetic. You say it just like you read it. Thank you.

I'd recommend learning the international phonetic alphabet. Having an understanding of that has helped me immensely in pronouncing uncommon letters in languages I've learned over the years.

@@___s___8071 Aww man!! Don't give up! As a Mongolian myself actually trying to relearn the language, along with... a lot of other languages, the L's have always been real difficult to pronounce. So don't let that one thing discourage you! Languages can for sure be a real pain to learn but the feeling you get from finally learning something that complicated makes it all worth it in my opinion.

@@babyb1uebird wow thank you for the motivation! Right now the course I'm doing in college demands my complete focus and effort but as soon as I'm done with it I'll hopefully get back on track again!
