This music intrigued me so much the first time I saw it. Some people don’t understand it and just say it’s weird. This is one of the most prized musical cultures in the world and much more people from every country need to appreciate its beauty.

The basics of throat singing isn't that hard, getting good at it is a pain. Most professional throat singers started as kids. However there are a few non-Tuvan throat singers that are good, Enrique Ugalde is one.

Such wonderful music! Some of it is evocatively new to me, while other segments-those featuring the square-bodied stringed instruments (Morin Khuur?)-kinda remind me of bluegrass. I appreciate the lower thirds, too, for the info. Oh, and that harp? Heavenly.

The song is called Khusugtun - Tes goliin magtaal. It's not on their album you can find the studio version here on KZbin. You most likely recognize it from their performance on Asia’s Got Talent.
