your play their style incredibly well, I thought I was gonna watch an improv from a westerner, not something bad just typical, instead I feel like I;m in africa, amazing... love the rhythms, sounds even like a modern central african song.

In my experience the wood should be dense slow grown wood. Willow or Hazelnut for example are clearly too soft. There should be as much tension till almost breaking point when you bend the branch.

Nella mia esperienza il legno dovrebbe essere denso legno a crescita lenta. Il salice è chiaramente troppo morbido. Ci dovrebbe essere quanta più tensione possibile quando pieghi il ramo.

Hi, i just found out for this instrument and a bit of its use and its realy intersting to me. I was wondering do you live in Africa? Do you know where to get one, any advice would be great. Thank you, all the best.

Did you make it yourself?! I would love to have one like this one, I've recently started making my own mouthbows, I work with willow branches and guitar and mandolin snares on the moment, and it's working pretty fine! Hope you can give me some guidance if you made it yourself, or know where to get one for a decent price :-) Thanks
