watching mongral talk technical about latency really irks me. he genuinely has no idea about latency or computers in general which we can gather by watching any setup upgrade/tour video. "using a controller gives you no delay/ping" is such a stupid statement. ping is almost completely based on your internet and how long it takes to communicate to the network, location and ISP matter a lot in this sense. whether you're on a KBM or roller doesn't impact this whatsoever. however, using KBM on console does give you higher input latency since it's not made for the platform and simply supported by it. however, depending on your refresh rate, panel response time and controller, your input latency will decrease/increase. But a PC will always be superior for latency and delay in general. let's say theoretically someone has the best performance on a PS5 and the best performance on a PC. just having a 540 frames on a 540hz monitor gives you 540 frames in 1 second to give input to the game. This means there are more frames in said second for your input to go through.
