This gospel song was usually played every Sunday by my distance cousins Bro Thomas and his brother in the 80s even though i was a Muslim that time and a spinster it made me to desire to marry a Christian which God eventually did for me. Grew up with the song in the 80s when we were toddlers , there was man who will play the song very early in the morning of every Sunday to wake up the entire street. It got to stage that everyone on the street at the time became uses to the music and became our street anthem. . To us kids then , that was the only song on our street . There was this cassette distributor outlets near us then, the man always play this piece every blessed morning, and its stucked to my brain even though i was little..I always remeber Olorun mimo mimo..if i could vividly travel back to the days, it was just so awesome, sitting on my grey granny's lap, singing this song n ill be just so happy even if the poor woman got nothing for us to eat..time rolls fast...it's just a sweet memory, bringing back the memories of me n my granny hustles..Thank God for gift of life . "Moni baba kan" my engagement with this wonderful piece and classic gospel song occurred during my formative years in Kaduna in the early 80s. I was not fluent in Yoruba language but lived in the compound dominated by my Yoruba families from Kwara State. The likes of Isaac, Somolon, Abayomi, Mama Korede, Pa Adegoke, Kudi, Rasidat Jimoh, Taye and Kehinde. Finally, my special friend Bro Theophilus alias "Babawa". All at Irra Road, Kaduna. May Almighty continue to replenish your hearts with love. Isaac played this particular music every Sunday and Auntie Julie and Feyi would song along the music as it played and Isaac would dance to every melody...... I miss you all.

This music lightened my Subday morning when i was a little boy in late 70s and 80s, because hearing this classic music very early in the morning by 6am in our house means i would put on one of my best clothes, enjoying taken to church in a car and eat bread, tea and fried eggs. Then, during the children Sunday School,, they would give us Okin biscuits. All these things made our Sundays worthwhile experienced in those years.
