Hola Psyche 😊 Te cuento que esta canción es de un estilo sólo de Mónica Naranjo, donde Mónica ha mezclado genialmente diferentes géneros de música ...! Todos los cambios que hace Mónica con su voz son naturales, no utilizá autotune 👋👋👋 La canción se basa en la historia real de la Bisabuela de Mónica Naranjo a quien le quitaron a su esposo cuando estaba embarazada de uno de sus 4 hijos en la sangrienta Guerra Civil Española (1936-1939) y nunca lo volvió a ver 😫 Pero la bisabuela de Monica, la Sra. Robledo, nunca perdió la esperanza de volver a ver a su esposo , nunca dejó de buscarlo y nunca lo olvidó o se unió a otro hombre. La bisabuela tuvo que trabajar duro para mantener y educar a sus hijos sola durante los muchos y duros años de la guerra y la posguerra de España....! Al principio aparecen junto a Mónica como 2 ángeles que representa a los 2 bandos de la Guerra Civil española ...! La chica desnuda es una modelo que lleva tatuada de verdad la cara de Mónica Naranjo en su espalda....! Lo que se ve en los monitores de televisión son antiguos vídeos de Mónica Naranjo ....! Cuando Mónica aparece desnuda en lo que parece agua negra lo que representa en realidad es leche negra con migas de pan que es lo que muchas veces tenían para comer la bisabuela y sus hijos ya que pasarón hambre ...! She's versatile, she's very disciplined and has been able to keep her voice and technique over her 25 years' career and she does what she feels she has to do, she funds her own work with outstanding results =) This video is from 2019, from her last studio album, and this woman never ceases to amaze me! The live performance of this song from her last tour 'Rennaisance' is sick!! She's really popular in México and, to some extent, in Italy as well. In 2002, she recorded an album in English to be released internationally, but she was eventually kind of boycotted by her record company. By the way, I'm in love with your accent

Al abuelo se lo llevaron y su mujer embarazada(abuela de Mónica) nunca lo volvió a ver, nunca lo regresaron. Fue una guerra entre nosotros que nunca deberíamos olvidar, hermanos contra hermanos. Mónica Naranjo is a highly talented singer and composer with a 30 year career who always been visionary, ahead of her time. She uses a lot of metaphors, symbolism and doble meaning in her lyrics. Basic summary of the video is the story of her great grandmother whose husband was killed during the Spanish Civil War while she was pregnant with her child. The story is more complex, but just to give you an idea about what the song is about.
