Mónica Naranjo empezó su carrera en España pero adquirió su popularidad en México en donde introdujo una música que hasta entonces no existía en México. Ella lo comentó también en una entrevista y a los mexicanos les ofendió e incluso tuvo que ofrecer una entrevista en la que pidió perdón llorando. Así que no quieran hacerla mexicana cuando la repudiaron.

This woman is a goddess. Hands down the best voice I have ever heard. Not only that, she is so creative with her music, writes most of her songs and creates things that are so unique. She is also such an amazing human being. She is gorgeous, sexy, caring, down to earth, charismatic, funny and everything that describes the perfect woman. I am in love with her!! 😍😍 I think she describes this as Opera Rock. She sings even better live. As much as I love Gloria Trevi I wouldn't compare her. They have such unique styles and Gloria's vocal do not have the capacity to sing high or long notes. They both did make a perfect duo though in the song that they put out this year called "Grande".

She actually did duo with Gloria Trevi called "Grande"¡@ To quote Jemes Devil Brown "The song is based on the real story of Monica Naranjo's grandmother who was taken from her husband when she was pregnant with one of her children in the bloody Spanish Civil War (1936 - 1939) and never saw him again neither alive nor dead. But Monica's grandmother, Mrs. Robledo never lost hope of seeing her husband again and never forgot it or joined another man. The grandmother had to work hard to maintain and educate her 4 children alone during the many hard years of the war and the postwar of Spain ....! Monica is an earthquake, they call her the panther .... I don't know any singer like her, she has incredible vocal quality, she sings pop, rock, lyrical ... And in general she sings better live ... She has sung so many styles that will surprise you in each song. If you want to meet her, you should see some songs from her: - sobrevivire Pavarotti and friends (a song from 2000). - EUROPA concierto stage (song from 2008) - ahora ahora directo luar - make your rock - pantera en libertad premios amigo. La canción está basada en la historia real de la Bisabuela de Mónica Naranjo a la que le arrebataron el marido cuando tenía 3 hijos con él y estaba embarazada de otro durante la sangrienta Guerra Civil de España (1936 - 1939) y nunca más volvió a verlo ni vivo ni muerto, pero la abuela de Mónica, la Sra. Robledo nunca perdía la esperanza de volver a ver a su marido, seguía preguntando por él , nunca lo olvido ni se juntó con otro hombre. La abuela tuvo que trabajar duramente para mantener y educar ella sola a sus 4 hijos durante los muchos y duros años de la guerra y la posguerra de España....!Mónica en las imágenes que sale desnuda en el agua negra (Representa que es leche negra con migas de pan que es lo que le daban de comer en la guerra y postguerra civil española a mucha gente que pasaba hambre)"
