I‘m pretty sure that she is the only one in the world at this time, because not even in the US exist someone similar to MÓNICA’S voice and don’t come out with that fucking Lady Gaga, because honestly MÓNICA NARANJO is way far better than any American singer. MÓNICA has demonstrated that she can sing live, something that most of the singers everywhere can’t. Nowadays, a lot people wants to become a singer and then being famous, and there’s a lot singers everywhere but they can’t sing live, because in the end you realize that simply they don’t sing...

They turn on a very good show, but they can’t sing live, however I still like both of them, ‘cause it is what it is. The experience goes beyond vocals and music, we Spanish speakers are so blessed to understand the song, she magically and perfectly mixed World War Two with her own career, for instance, she sings "yo era la diva de aquella nación," (I was the diva of that nation,) meaning she being a huge icon just like Europe was then before WWII, "grandes teatros llenaba mi voz" (great theaters my voice filled) meaning how good she was and how much attention was on her, as well as Europe was the head of the world and every word Europe said, everyone followed, "la decadencia, la solución final" (decadence, the final solution) this line means the fall from the top when she had problems with her label and how the war turned to sh*t all Europe, plus "the final solution" was an actual Hitler plan, it's a real Hitler quote... this song is a f*cking masterpiece, vocally, musically, lyrically, every beat and word and note is amazin!

The energy in that place has to be insane! Mónica deal with a separation and the lost of her brother and in some way she asume she missed precious time to be with her family because she was travelling the world to become a famous singer. So she me made a stop in her career for several years. Europa was her comeback single and this was her first performance ending the long break.

Mónica Naranjo is one of the most underrated singer, composer, and producer. Not only does she have amazing voice, but composes the music she wants, which is often no commercial. She is able to sing various genres of music (rock, opera, blues, even gospel) . Her lyrics are profound. In terms of calibre, she is in class way above Thalia or Paulina Rubio. Check out her official video "Jamás" from her album LVBNA, a masterpiece in which she spend seven years creating, paying with her own money. In 2002, she left the record company and took a 7-8 break to compose the music she has always want to produce and continues to do. Her fans are very loyal to her.
