I think they both played this competitively even though it was an exhibition ..Monica playing above 2000 form average and Lindsay below her 2000 average form …Lindsay had lost early in the year end championships etc and Monica made the final and almost won it..another strategic mistake I always felt hurt Monica against Lindsay was the position on the return of serve ..Monica stood way too close to the baseline on the 1 st serve

Beautiful, Monica sometimes makes strategic mistakes of opening up the court with low pace shots, that just helps Davenport fire away

The cool side about Seles being out of shape and Davenport having the lowest mobility of any #1 player is that their matches always produced tons of winners 😆
