The way that I see it, this palette was definitely worth the money since you can have a year’s worth of regular usage and still have product. Good on you for getting your money’s worth!

Thats a ton of eyeshadow 😮❤ I think part of the reason we get emotional over these “small things” is because, like you said, there are such big awful things happening in the world, we try to at least do these small things that make us happy and when those don’t work out how we thought it feels like a fail. But what I see is you have a love of eyeshadow and makeup and you used this year doing what makes you happy ❤❤❤😊 and we love that for you!

You did awesome! Sure. Pan that palette is trivial compared to the grand scheme of things, but I think we sometimes equate trivial with easy. Panning that many shadows is hard! You did great!

Honestly, you did so great! I couldn't hit pan on half those shades. I always have a hard time trying to come up with new ways to use colors that aren't muted/natural and each time I see you with a new look it gives me ideas. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Girl! You did a great job! That is a big damn palette. I am really hard on myself, too. I also set goals for my makeup usage. My husband semi-jokingly tells me he can make it disappear for me if I just say the word. 😂😂🙄🙄 I tell him, "YOU BETTER NOT!!" 😂😂😂 I'm sure he thinks my makeup panning is not worth all the pressure put on myself and it honestly isn't. I would consider this a great success! Don't beat yourself up about it, you will get there eventually. Has there ever been a big project like building a bridge, a skyscraper, an airport, that has met all of it criteria: on time, on budget and all features? Probably not... Probably either over budget and over time and probably with a few features less or of cheaper quality or smaller size.

You did soooo well! I only aim to hit pan on shades, never to finish entire pans or entire palettes for that matter. Especially for older palettes, i don't think it's that worth it 🤔 I would also want to continue working on those leftover shades just to scratch the itch inside, but you did soooo soooo well regardless! Man, PTP is such an opportunity to grow as a person. I never really thought of it that way, but it requires quite a bit of creativity and perseverance. You accomplished so much and learned about yourself in the process. There was no failure in sight!

I am a very slow panner so I always make a goal to finish 5 shadow a year so when I can’t even do that I also become very hard on myself so don’t feel embarrassed to show your negative emotion❤❤❤😊

Two things: This is very impressive! Please don't beat yourself up! I feel like, and I don't mean this to be personal, but maybe you should have a challenge where you don't buy any makeup in a year, and see how much of your stash you actually go through in a year instead of continuing to just collect so much excess? It'd be interesting to see somebody challenge their consumerism instead of just panning a palette while still buying more. People buy so much more makeup than they can ever use most of the time. It'd be nice to see somebody challenge themselves to only use what they have, and the reality of how much you actually would go through, and what you "need".

Do you ever feel like you're neglecting your other makeup while doing these project pans every year? I would worry about my makeup going off as I was focusing so heavily on 1 pallette.
