To say I identified with this movie was an understatement. Made me crrrryyyyyyyy!

There were so many hints that she was gay throughout and they never made it her whole character. This is how you make a gay character(looking at Disney, who just makes hints and nods or makes it the ONLY THING ABOUT A CHARACTER("Strange Planet"), including her asking a girl out to prom among her videos, her not "figuring herself out yet"while she has a number of costumes, hearts appearing when she is texting with Jade before the road trip or referencing Jade as "this really cute girl".

There's a fun little tidbit in the Furby scene if you watch the movie with subtitles. They uh... *They talk.* And I don't mean generic Furbish stuff, there are fun lines such as "Behold, the twilight of man." and "LET THE DARK HARVEST BEGIN." Also the reason they can't go back and start the download again after the Furby fight was because the router got wrecked; no wifi.

OMG I totally relate to being too similar to someone personality-wise that you clash over things. With me, it was also my dad. I regret never sorting out our issues before he died. Just a life lesson: sort out differences with your loved ones (unless they're abusive, of course), because you never know when you may lose them. My dad died from a sudden, rare, terminal cancer, and I never got the nerve to speak to him about our issues before he died. It was 13 years ago and I still regret it.

I thought this was just gonna be a fun little movie, but it turned out to be one of my favourite animated movies of all time. Katie Mitchell is one of the best done gay characters, as a rewatch confirmed that yes, she was gay the whole time...but its not the ONLY damn thing about her character(nor done for brownie points). Fun bit: The text from the video after the Mule Tour Disaster Katie Mitchell swears in perpetuity that no MULE or MULES(s) specifically the mule in question ("PRANCER") was injured in the making of this film. Katie Mitchell accepts the term of "MULE TOURS, INC." and admits that the perpetrators in question ("MY INSANE FAMILY") did break the following rule (or rules). Rule 1. RICK MITCHELL (Whose qualities include, but are not limited to: Agressiveness, Excessive sweating, and is shaped like a wine glass. Srsly tho- look at that guy- IS THAT MY FUTURE?) did exceed the posted weight limit (230 lbs./104.3 kg) and is thus responsible for Prancer's agitated state. (Re: Braying, biting Rick's leg - which the undersigned hereby found funny) 2. LINDA MITCHELL (Whose qualities include, but are not limited to: Being a ray of sunshine that illuminates even the darkest day) is responsible for trying to feed the mule in question thirteen (!) packs of dinosaur shaped fruit snacks in a misguided attempt to calm him - and potentially incited the lethargy that led to "PRANCER'S" untimely fall. However, LINDA'S heroic call to animal services saved the MULE ("PRANCER") in question's life. 3. Aaron Mitchell (whose qualities include, but are not limited to: Dinosaur knowledge, Being my A.D. 4 Life, and having the cutest rosiest cheeks YOU'VE EVER SEEN IN YOUR LIFE) and the undersigned- Katie Mitchell now hereby claims the distinguished right to mock RICK MITCHELL for his cold blooded cowardice by asking him questions like "Now that Mom stubbed her toe, are you going to leave her behind like Prancer?" It makes him furious and brings us unending joy. Prancer may be relegated to the barn now- but he will forever live in the barn... of our hearts

6:15 The Autism coding is VERY strong with Aaron! He has very specific interests that he's obsessed with talking about, mainly dinosaurs, he lines his dino toys up very particularly, and he tends to stim by chewing on his shirt collar (which is why it's so stretched-out) and his fingernails. He's very literal, like when he took notes after Rick told him to, and proceeded to get beat up by a robot with Aaron watching and writing it down. He's also homeschooled, which a lot of kids on the spectrum are. I wasn't, but I did majorly struggle to make friends almost until the end of high school.

At 6:31, have you read the book, "RAPTOR RED"? IT's a action, adventure, romance novel.... from the point of a Utah Raptor during the dinosaur periods. It uses all the real life lore that anthropologists had at the time unearthed, to tell the story of a female raptor that makes her way across the frozen land bridges from Asia to America during the time of PANGEA. She quickly loses her mate, but then rediscovers her sister & her kids. She helps them survive, all the while still looking for love. It's SUCH, an amazing novel !!!!

Why Americans make their villains British: We tend to find the British Accent to have an ellegance to it and we love ellegant villains French and Italian Accents are also incredibly elegant but are a bit harder to understand if not familliar with them while most British Accents are fairly easy to understand for most americans- hence why most villains end up with british accents

"Robots scare me." Yeah, for me it was Planet of the Apes. I still don't like gorillas. I, Robot seems to have little in common with the Asimov stories that "inspired" it. "Why would you collect humans?" To get the whole set. They look lovely on your mantle. By the way, those dinosaurs are where I started. I'm from the kangaroo dinosaurs era. And no, T. rex didn't have feathers. Other tyrannosaurids did, but we have enough skin impressions to say the adult rexs were bald as an elephant. You can't get rabies from a possum. Possums can't get rabies. "Why is it wearing a suit?" I missed that when I watched the movie. It's a flight attendant uniform. The download failed because a giant Furby blew up the router at the mall. I understand the reluctance. I had the same problem with Luca, which was the least interesting movie I'd run across in years, until I saw a review that said it was more than a couple of sea monsters wandering around on dry land. Now it's one of my most favorite movies. And I adore Giulia. What a great character!
