HOLY hell! Sorry for the random english comment but I absolutely love videos in the orchestra pit and I am SO glad I stumbled upon this video. Absolutely fantastic work! I have always wanted to do this job, but looking at these videos has made me realize how talented you and musicians in these types of shows actually are... You have to be able to follow musical cues in real time depending on how the actresses set the cue, you have to have split second precision on the drum hits during the faster dialogue parts like at 00:27 through 00:50 in the video, and you have to not freak the hell out since you are playing for a live audience! This was so good and so fascinating to see from the percussion section's point of view. Great job! I absolutely loved this video! Instant sub Edit: And 3:05 to the end of the video, just absolutely blown away by the performance!

What I love about this most is that although this is I’m sure done night after night, performance after performance, there’s such excitement, joy and enthusiasm (and also tremendous talent and professionalism). When people come to see shows like Wicked, it’s often a huge expense; a real treat. Something they have probably saved for and looked forward to. They have probably traveled far to see it and especially with Wicked, it might be the first time many young people have ever seen a show. So to see a musician make a choice (yes, I believe it’s a choice to be so present) for each performance, really honors not only the performers and the whole creative team, but all whole audience who came to experience the show. What a joy to see this video!

ahah no muchas gracias a tí por subirlo, ya había visto uno de la producción de broadway pero en verdad que se siente mucho más lo que tú haces, hahaha podría ver ese video 100 veces y siempre saldrá una pequeña lagrima haahahaha suena muy exagerado, pero en verdad me gustó mucho, espero que estés en más producciones así y que sigas subiendo tu arte para que lo podamos oir :)
