SeichoStuffz I don’t think so Vtubers are like those got talent contests they go to an audition if they think they got the talent to be a vtuber some of them might already have some skills, like voice acting or singing I guess voice acting might be the most important one but not all of them are good at it some are better at games and then they get picked by the company and learn while working there’s no vtuber school that I know of although it might be one in the future like it happen with professional gaming and such.

...I just realized something. It's a really good thing the "stream detector" went off on this game. If it didn't, Monika calls you by your PC name or User Name *Which might be the VTuber's REAL LIFE NAME*

I'm pretty sure that's the reason Salvato added that feature. He wanted to protect the privacy of anyone who streamed the game, so he wrote the conversation where Monika detects the recording as an alternative to the regular, privacy invading dialogue. This alternative is good for any streamer, but as it turns out, it's especially good for vtubers.

I think people don’t realize just how useful DDLC can be to teach about computer software First off, it can pull your steam username, some of your games, and how many hours you’ve played It can detect your windows username Files delete themselves in this game with some regularity And it can detect OBS running. And this is is a small file that has graphics. All it takes is a small zipped file to get onto your computer to find your IP address (which can lead to your real address) if it gets in through your browser, then boom, all of your accounts your computer auto-fills for you are up for grabs

It checks for running processes names of recording software on your computer (obs.exe, xsplit.exe(?) and a few more). So it can't know if you are streaming or just recording, just that you have the software open. I think I once used NVDIA GeForce Experience to record and this part didn't happen.
